I just came home after 7 days spent in Los Angeles at “VivaVinoLA”, the most important West Coast fair dedicated to italian wine. It was Italy America Chamber of Commerce West to invite me for an exhibition and a live performance, and it was a pleasure tu accept it. Later I’ll post some pics. Now I just wish to thanks everybody who gave me this opportunity – from my new friend, Letizia Miccoli, to Allison Levine and Lucia Singer, but also Paolo Miliozzi and Lucia Peretti – and tell something about my expecience there in California.
I showed my EnoArt both on Kick Off Party (14th May) at Caffè Roma in Beverly Hills, in front of many producers and the general consul of Italy Giuseppe Perrone. On 16th May tha IACCW organized an exhibition of my wine-made paintings at Grand Tasting, the main event of “VivaVinoLA” with a lot of producers, importers, journalists and wine lovers. The following day, Italian Cultural Istituted hosted another exhibition of my artworks and I performed a brief demonstration of EnoArt with red wine of “Podere Sapaio” (thanks to Massimo Piccin and Christian Valbruzzoli), in front of almost 100 people including famous ambassador of Italian wine in California, Piero Selvaggio – restaurant “Valentino” – and many journalists. I saw emotions and interest in people that were looking at my performance, and it made me very proud. Somebody asked me a portrait for some special days, and it’ll be an honour to make them.
At least, I’ve opened new interesting opportunities to show and sell my paintings in California. And, of course, to improve my poor english.
Best to you all
