My week in Los Angeles at “VivaVinoLA” (14th-19th May, 2012)

Al Grand Tasting di VivaVinoLA

Il 16 maggio, a Los Angeles, il Grand Tasting della rassegna VivaVinoLA ha ospitato la mia performance live di pttura col vino

Dear friends,

I just came home after 7 days spent in Los Angeles at “VivaVinoLA”, the most important West Coast fair dedicated to italian wine. It was Italy America Chamber of Commerce West to invite me for an exhibition and a live performance, and it was a pleasure tu accept it. Later I’ll post some pics. Now I just wish to thanks everybody who gave me this opportunity – from my new friend, Letizia Miccoli, to Allison Levine and Lucia Singer, but also Paolo Miliozzi and Lucia Peretti – and tell something about my expecience there in California.

I showed my EnoArt both on Kick Off Party (14th May) at Caffè Roma in Beverly Hills, in front of many producers and the general consul of Italy Giuseppe Perrone. On 16th May tha IACCW organized an exhibition of my wine-made paintings at Grand Tasting, the main event of “VivaVinoLA” with a lot of producers, importers, journalists and wine lovers. The following day, Italian Cultural Istituted hosted another exhibition of my artworks and I performed a brief demonstration of EnoArt with red wine of “Podere Sapaio” (thanks to Massimo Piccin and Christian Valbruzzoli), in front of almost 100 people including famous ambassador of Italian wine in California, Piero Selvaggio – restaurant “Valentino” – and many journalists. I saw emotions and interest in people that were looking at my performance, and it made me very proud. Somebody asked me a portrait for some special days, and it’ll be an honour to make them.

At least, I’ve opened new interesting opportunities to show and sell my paintings in California. And, of course, to improve my poor english.

Best to you all
Elisabetta

  1. Thank you, I’ve recently been searching for info approximately this topic for a while and yours is the greatest I’ve came upon till now.

But, what in regards to the bottom line? Are you positive concerning the
    supply?

  2. Hello Vivian,
thanks for your kind words. Yes, my idea is having an interesting success and I had to put a copyright on my tecnique ‘cause in Italy there were many people trying to imitate my EnoArte. I’m not sure I understand your question about the bottom line: if you’re referring to the background of my paintings, I can say I use the same wine of the features in the foreground but with a different density. About to be positive for the supply, I’m sorry but I do not understand what you mean. Can explain it in other words, please? I’ll be glad to answer in a short time.
    Best regards
    Elisabetta Rogai
